The reader is based on SCM’s STC II controller chip that supports multiple interfaces, multiple reader devices and all relevant security standards. The STC II chip was the industry’s first to offer On-board Flash, allowing future firmware and application enhancements.

This provides SCM Microsystems with the unique ability to offer high performance and cost effective solutions. If required by our customers, the SCR331 can be customized in color and case, and can include a company logo.
